East Coast Sour Diesel, Clone Only

A rooted cutting of the East Coast Sour Diesel kept in the Lucky Dog room. Clone only, it has never gone out as seed here, and it is not a selection pulled out of a pack. Full list on the clone page.

What It Looks Like

You can pick this one out of a room. Dark green leaves that stay dark right through to harvest, lime-green flower against them, and long fingerling pistils that come in pale, pink through light orange, never fire-engine red. Buds run elongated and spear-shaped rather than round, stacked up a tall open frame with wide gaps between the nodes.

Aroma & Flavor

Sour lemon out front, over the fuel rather than under it. Less heavy motor oil and grease than you might expect, more sharp citrus and pine, with a skunk backbone underneath. Pungent enough to fill a room, and the resin comes off greasy on the fingers.

Effects

Cerebral, euphoric and soaring. Racy and head-forward rather than heavy. A daytime plant.

Running It

Flowering is 10 to 11 weeks. It stretches hard and wants vertical room, so get the trellis in before you flip and plan for the height. Not the easiest plant in the room, and it does not reward being crowded.

This is the mother behind Diesel Therapy, ECSD crossed to Chemdog 91 bx3. That cross exists because this plant has been in the room, and the Chemdog 91 stud went in to add vigor and balance while leaving the diesel intact. Now the mother goes out as a clone.
