Genetics & Lineage
The mother, Skunk Dawg, is generally reported as a Super Skunk crossed to Chemdog, which is worth noticing, because it means this cross carries Chem genetics on both sides. The Super Skunk contributes the earthy, skunky base; the Chemdog side is where the diesel sharpness enters. It is a near-even hybrid with a reputation for mental clarity rather than fog.
Bred to the Chemdog 91 Bx3, the foundational male behind the Lucky Dog Seed Co backcross project, the Chem character compounds rather than dilutes. Aroma, Flavor & Terpene Profile
The living plants reek of citrus and jet fuel, that is the breeder’s word and it is the right one, because this is not a subtle nose in flower. Dried, the profile settles into a familiar damp earth with spice notes running through it. On the smoke it turns again: berry and orange, with the fuel arriving on the exhale. Three distinct stages between the tent and the joint, which is unusual and is a large part of this line’s appeal.

Focused energy and an elevated mood from the Skunk Dawg side, clear-minded and genuinely useful rather than scattered. The Chemdog 91 adds body relaxation underneath, so it lands as balanced rather than purely up. A daytime cross that does not leave you restless.
Cultivation Insights
Be mindful of stretch. The Bx3 male usually tempers extreme stretch, and on this line it did not, most plants tested stretched well, which is worth planning vertical space around before you flip. The payoff is large, mold-resistant flowers, and that resistance is a genuine advantage for anyone growing in humidity where a dense flower of this size would normally be a risk. Flowering runs 63–70 days (9–10 weeks). Each pack holds 13 regular seeds.

Is Pole Dog hard to grow?
No. She is easy to grow. All of my genetics are easy to cultivate with vigorous growth.
