Raffi Dog Seeds: Banana Sugar Soaked in Chem Fuel

Raffi Dog seeds by Lucky Dog Seed Co cross Apples & Bananas to the Chemdog 91 Bx3 stud. This is the seed line behind the Raffi Dog Breeder’s Cut, the phenotype Skunk VA pulled out of these same packs and kept.

Notes from Skunk VA

I love sugary ripe bananas. Who doesn’t? What I like better is sugary sweet bananas soaked in Chemdog gassy, earthy fuel! This cross nailed it. Leaving the sharp sour apple notes and savory finish. Somewhat taller phenos were observed consistently, with flowers that were so big and heavy they were pulling the plants down at harvest.

Genetics & Lineage

Apples & Bananas is a modern dessert cultivar, sweet and fruit-forward, bred for flavor and bag appeal. Chemdog 91 Bx3 is the opposite instinct: old school, savory, structural, built from the Chemdog 91 SKVA cut Skunk VA has held since 1995. Crosses like this usually lose one side. Either the sugar gets flattened by the gas or the gas gets buried in candy. Raffi Dog kept both.

Aroma & Flavor

Ripe banana first, sugary and slightly overripe rather than green. Then sharp sour apple through the middle, cutting the sweetness. The finish is the Chem parent: earthy, savory, fuel-soaked. Sweet and savory arrive in sequence instead of blending, which is what makes it unusual.

Effects & Experience

Uplifted and euphoric, with the sweet side carrying the mood and the Chem side giving it weight. A good fit for the afternoon into the evening.

Cultivation Insights

Flowers in 63–70 days (9–10 weeks). Expect somewhat taller plants and very heavy flowers, so put stakes, a trellis layer or a net in place before stretch finishes rather than after the colas start to lean. Each pack holds 13 regular seeds, and a pack is a pheno hunt, not a clone order, and the keepers are yours to find.
